1938 by George Hugh de Vernon Wilbraham as the final family seat of the
influential Wilbraham family. Built in the elegant country house style of the late
inter-war period, the Manor was inspired by the magnificent Delamere House
that once stood nearby and represents the final chapter in the story of one of
Cheshire's great landed estates.
